FORMER Southend United favourite Michael Timlin is the latest former Shrimper to have taken a Run Free training session.
Timlin, who made 262 appearances for the Shrimpers, put the players through their paces for an hour at Jones' Memorial.
And Run Free co-owner Chris Phillips was pleased to have Timlin in attendance.
"Lots of the group are Southend fans so it meant loads to have Tims there taking training and it was brilliant," said Phillips.
"He put on a really enjoyable training session and then just sat speaking to everyone for about an hour as well.
"It was a fantastic night and we will definitely be going to watch him play for Dulwich Hamlet this season when it's safe to do so."
