RunFree announces new training venue
RUNFREE are delighted to announce the group's training sessions will now be held at Garon Park.
Coaching had been taking place at Jones' Memorial.
But it will now be moving to Garons, much to the delight of RunFree co-founder Chris Phillips.
"It's a fantastic facility at Garons and we cannot wait to start training over there," said Chris.
"Training in the park was good but obviously it's getting darker earlier now and we couldn't really even see each other by the time it had finished!
"Moving to Garons means we can keep on training, which is fantastic because we've got such a great group of people now.
"It's also fitting we're moving there as there's a lot of brilliant wellbeing work being done at Garons so they also understand exactly what we are trying to achieve.
"A big thanks must go to Clive and Nathan and we look forward to getting started."
The first training session at Garons will take part on Friday October 16.
And Chris was also keen to thank Concord chairman Ant Smith for helping to make the switch happen.
"Without Ant we wouldn't have been able to afford this move so we're incredibly thankful to him," said Chris.
"Concord are a great family club and we're so happy to have them involved with us now as well."
