RunFree announce partnership with Southend United

RUNFREE are delighted to announce a partnership with Southend United.

RunFree use the power of sport to raise awareness of mental health issues and to help those facing their own issues.

And co-owners Eddy Cooper and Chris Phillips are pleased to have teamed up with the Shrimpers.

“For us to have Southend United on board with what we’re doing is brilliant and it will really help us to reach out to so many more people,” said the duo.

“The vast majority of our group are Southend fans so that makes it extra special and it’s great that the club are getting on board with what we’re trying to do.”

“We were lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with Mark Molesley this week talking about mental health and he was superb.

“Matt Mundy at the club has also been brilliant for us and we’re really looking forward to working together in the future.

“We don’t want anyone to ever suffer in silence and being around like-minded people while playing sport in a fun-filled environment is one of the best ways to pick yourself up.”
