Run Free boosted by new sponsorship deal
RUN Free United have been boosted by generous backing from former Concord Rangers chairman Ant Smith.
The donation means Run Free can continue to train at their Garon Park base on a fortnightly basis.
And Run Free co-founder Chris Phillips was quick to thank Ant’s kindness.
“It’s brilliant for Ant to back us in this way and we’re massively grateful,” said Chris.
“Ant supports so many great causes and I remember him being fantastic when a Dick Marshall, a former colleague of mine at the Echo, died in 2010.
“It’s amazing he’s still contributing to the local community and this will make a massive difference to us as we continue to help raise awareness about mental health.”
